from our Santa Rosa store was on a recent 5 Day Trip aboard
the Shogun and got a pretty nice group of fish

with a nice surface caught bass. Strikes were explosive during
Carlo Bongio's Panfish Clinic during fall of 2006.

Justin and
David (shown below) fished 2 lakes and caught bluegill as well
as some nice bass. Unfortunately, the biggest ones
struck but got away...

- this beautiful fish was caught and released using Spey techniques.
Carlo prefers a 2 handed 6/7 weight spey system for delivering
his floating line system..

Santa Rosa
Fly Department Manager Carlo Bongio travelled up to the Klamath
River during September, 2006 - This is what made the Klamath
such a famous destination - the "half-pounders" -
a run of small steelhead in late summer/fall.
